Wow. Insanely flavorful. AMAZING decor and atmosphere. Warm and inviting, friendly down to earth service. The attention to detail is impeccable, from the eclectic decorations to the outdoor sculptures to the simple yet complicated layout. On to the drinks...dirty martini...perfect. Non drinking husband had a spiritless old fashioned.....delicious. Our appetizer was the Brie....melted stinky yumminess topped with spicy jelly and blueberries. Paired with crackers, pecans and apples, it burst with flavor. Bacon chicken sandwich was juicy, and the bread was fresh than fresh. Pep in the step pizza on cauliflower crust was crunchy yet wet from the perfect sauce, and complimented the toppings of arugula, carmelized onions, pepperoni and spicy honey. Simply the best meal we have had in a LONG time! Definitely worth the drive. Definitely on our destination list. Definitely will be back. Earned all 5 stars!

Great spot with fantastic and creative cocktails. Had an amazing fresh prickly pear puree tequila concoctions. Friendly folks and fun atmosphere. Had a brick oven flatbread pizza appetizer .. the Green Goddess and it was wonderful. They don't skimp on ingredients. Very reasonable $$. 2 cocktails and the pizza was $24.

Excellent food. A bit of a wait for our food but they only cook out of one brick oven so if there are a lot of people it can be a bit. But, they have a full bar and good food and reasonably priced.

Had dinner here last night! The Embers has a perfect cocktail selection, a good craft beer selection and the menu is top notch.. Now to be honest the bartender and server make the Embers a 6 put of 5.. If you are in the area this is a must stop.

A coworker and I were working nearby and staying in Rensselaer and he discovered this place. He sent me the link and it looked like a great place to grab dinner. Last night we went and we each got a salad, we ordered a flatbread (The Italian Job) and the Spicy Italian beef and split both. Awesome meal! Today was a takeout order and brought it back to the hotel. I ordered a Margherita flatbread and an appetizer of soft pretzels and fire roasted beer cheese. Another awesome meal! Love finding nice places like this when traveling. As luck would have it, we had another trip to the area last week. A different coworker was with me. Flatbreads were awesome as excepted.

Awesome food and a great atmosphere! Loved the outdoor seating and insides decor was awesome. Service could’ve been a bit better—didn’t get checked on until after drinks were empty and it was a slow (2? Tables) night. Chicken potstickers for app and meat pizza were delicious.
